How to Read the Bible Without Getting Lost

In this post

Start with the Gospels

Most people who give up on reading the Bible give up in Leviticus. That is not a spiritual failure — it is a map problem.

Read whole books, not verses

Start with one Gospel. Mark is short and moves fast. Read a chapter a day and write down one sentence: what did Jesus do or say that surprised you?

Bring your questions

Then read it again with someone else. Scripture was written to communities and it opens differently in company.

Do not read to finish. Read to meet Someone. The goal was never the last page.
