Making disciples for Jesus Christ
To faithfully fulfill the Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28 — making disciples for Jesus Christ through evangelism, discipleship, spiritual growth, and servant leadership.
How the vision takes shape
The vision moves through nine works: convention partnership, the H. Matthew Beecham Scholarship, youth mentoring, Black Men Voices, mental health advocacy, health and wellness, community events, Second Baptist Kids, and prayer. Each one is described on the Ministries page.
